Overview

Role: Apprentice Technician

Location: Audi Dublin

Salary - 9.24 per hour 

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Here at Audi Dublin, we are looking for an apprentice technician to join our workshop. During your apprenticeship with us, you’ll gain hands on experience from day one and have the chance to earn while you learn. You’ll become part of our nationwide network of apprentices with all the support and training you need to get your career off to a flying start.

Our technicians play a vital role within our Aftersales team by delivering first class customer service every time. We want you to be part of our success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Testing of parts and systems to ensure correct working.
  • Undertaking repair and maintenance of vehicle parts including clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes, and suspension. 
  • Maintenance of electronic systems including on board entertainment systems
  • Carrying out bumper to bumper overview, service, and inspection.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.

We are looking for people who are passionate about our industry and our brand.

You’ll be someone who pays extra attention to detail, eager to learn and fully committed to completing this three-year training programme. Preferred candidates will have at least 5 passes at Junior certificate and it would be desirable for them to also have completed Leaving certificates. 

  • Good levels of literacy and numeracy.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and listen to instructions.
  • Ability to build good relationships with colleagues across the business.
  • Ability to ask questions and learn quickly on the job
  • Willingness to use your own initiative.

Training provided:

  • Training will be delivered using a combination of virtual classroom remote learning and face-to-face block release weeks at our state-of-the-art training centres. In the workplace, your personal, dedicated mentor will support your continued learning as you apply the skills and knowledge you have gained while on programme with us.
